wine growers in the region of Bordeaux, you can
find sophisticated wines, refreshing wines, aged wines and
young wines. In fact, there are wines for every mood, liking
and budget.
If
you can afford it, you can enjoy the most prestigious
wines of the world: Chateau Lafitte-Rothschild,
Chateau Latour, Chateau Margaux, Chateau Haut-Brion and
Chateau Mouton-Rothschild.
If
Bordeaux is mostly known for
its red wines, you must not forget white wines: Sauvignon
Blanc and Semillon, which are fruity, fresh and dry; Sauternes,
a golden sweet wine which perfectly blends with desserts
and foie gras.
The
most important districts are Medoc,
Pomerol, Grave, Saint-Emilion and Entre-Deux-Mers.

varieties. The three most used grapes for red Bordeaux are
