AutoireThe village derives its name from the torrent flowing down from the causse of Gramat. The manor of Latoque and the château of Limargue below the village. At the top, the Castle of Peyrusse de Banze, late 16th, rises up above the brown-tiled roofs of the village. The village was under English siege and was ruined by the Calvinists during the Religion Wars, it became peaceful again in 1558.
