Lagrasse

Languedoc-Roussillon

It stretches on a garrigue where olive trees and rosemary mingle with the vineyards of Corbières.

The benedictines who played a key role in the Spanish reconquista and in the crusade against the Cathars created one of the most important abbeys in southern France. In the 14th, Lagrasse became the greatest market of the Corbières region.
