Remains from the Roman period are numerous : villas, statues, coins. The Romans used very early the thermal waters of Montbrun. The upper part of the city is medieval. The 12th church owns a magnificent retable and several paintings. From the medieval castle, only the northern wall remains. Montbrun is now a spa and cures respiratory illnesses as well as rheumatisms.
