Saint-Suliac

Bretagne

Between land and sea, in a remarkably unspoilt environment, St Suliac offers a glorious view on the Rance estuary.

The church of St Suliac towers above an old cemetery, in the middle of granite walls and fishermen’s houses. Trails depart from the village, taking you to surprising places, such as the tide mill, the old salt pans of Guettes, the menhir of Chablé or the remains of a viking camp. The harbour welcomes a regatta each year to remember the rich maritime past of St Suliac. All the men were sailors and terre-neuvas (cod-fishers to Newfoundland).
